Louisiana is proud to collaborate with seven partner leagues to bring Ascensus back in a virtual format for the IRA training you need. Ascensus is the nation’s premier trainer to cover your IRA questions – from the basics to the complex issues. Now more than ever, it’s important to know and understand the impact of various changes brought on by pandemic related legislation.
Your instructors will use real-world exercises to apply information to job-related situations. Whether you are new to IRAs or an experienced administrator wanting an update, you'll find the training you need to serve your members' IRA needs.
Ascensus IRA Essentials on Tuesday, October 19, will provide attendees a solid foundation of IRA knowledge. Attendees will leave this session able to work with IRA owners and process basic IRA transactions with confidence. This is a beginner's session; no previous IRA knowledge is assumed. Topics may include Introduction & Establishing IRAs, IRA Funding, IRA Distributions, and IRA Portability.
Ascensus Advanced IRAs on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, will build upon your basic IRA knowledge to address some of the more complex IRA issues that their financial organizations may handle. Topics may include IRA Update, IRA Excess Contributions, Required Minimum Distributions, Beneficiary Options, Advanced Portability, Roth IRA Conversion, and IRA Legal Issues.
