Barran's Bears is a non-profit that provides Teddy Bears to Police Officers and First Responders to utilize at scenes where children are faced with "adult problems" such as Domestic Violence, illness, injury, etc. The organization will be picking up a donation from us at workshop!
For every bear that you donate at the YP Workshop, you will receive a ticket to win prizes! Bears that are between 12 and 14 inches work best for Barran’s Bears (roughly the size of a build a bear).
They ask for new bears but VERY gently used is okay too. Brown bears are very popular and can cover both boys and girls. They also accept bears in bulk at a discounted price so if you are unable to pick up a bear, you will receive an entry to win a prize for every $10 donated.
