Growth for credit unions is a juggling act with balls constantly in the air in the fields of sales; service; business development; marketing; full team buy-in; and much more. When you add in experiences and loyalty to the mix and it’s easily a full-time endeavor.

How are growth-focused credit unions (of all sizes and markets) building wallet share, mind share, and market share? Over two days, Jeff Rendel will share with you how the most successful credit unions are getting it done and moving on toward more. But what good is hearing about it, without knowing how to apply it? Jeff designed this program with multiple opportunities to immediately workshop with your peers to turn concept into implementable action plans.

Wednesday, February 6th we will focus heavily on member facing elements

  • Primary focus on retail sales and service (for both branches & call centers).
  • How to build a culture focused on growth.
  • Expectations of members for retail experiences.
  • High level service and relationship development skills.
  • High level business development (sales) skills.
  • Creating personal experiences that drive satisfaction and future business.
  • Training for results: what front line leaders need to know to deliver excellent service.
  • Measures of success for sales/service.
  • A workshop emphasis for attendees to leave with action plans.

Thursday, February 7th we will focus heavily on credit union internal elements

  • Primary focus on strategic marketing, engagement, and leadership.
  • Use of pertinent data in marketing campaigns and analysis.
  • Journey mapping and experience design.
  • Member feedback: how to get it and what to do with it.
  • Engagement programs to build loyalty with members.
  • C-level metrics and expectations for sales/marketing.
  • Getting buy-in and consistency with other departments (lending, ops, IT, etc.).
  • Building mind share, market share, and wallet share.
  • A workshop emphasis for attendees to leave with action plans.

Jeff Rendel, Certified Speaking Professional, knows financial services. With experience as a federal banking regulator, financial services executive, and Congressional lobbyist; he understands the balancing act of safety, soundness, sales, and strategy. As President of Rising Above Enterprises, Jeff works with financial services providers that want entrepreneurial results in sales, service, and strategy. His prior experience includes overseeing the strategic operations of a financial institution directing corporate initiatives and helping guide them to record growth, market share, and financial results.

$450 per person for the full two day program, and $250 per person for single day registration* 

*For the purposes of those applying for a grant, the registration fee includes food and beverage valued at $60 per person which cannot be deducted from the cost of the program.
