The Louisiana Credit Union League (LCUL) is a nonprofit, professional trade association that exists to serve credit unions in Louisiana. LCUL is dedicated, through cooperation, to promote, protect and perpetuate the credit union movement. LCUL accomplishes this by providing member credit unions with quality leadership to achieve positive results in the areas of: governmental affairs, research and information, education and training, community and public relations, and by making available other services which Louisiana credit unions need or desire in order to enhance their ability to successfully meet their members' needs.
Affiliation in the Louisiana Credit Union League offers many benefits to its members.
Unity & Strength means that as part of a nationwide credit union system with over 100 million members nationwide, credit unions can accomplish those things that no single credit union working alone could ever accomplish.
Operational & Management Assistance is a continuous flow of assistance and technical information to credit unions.
State & Federal Legislation Action protects and supports the interests of credit unions by providing a link with credit union supervisory agencies, such as the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), as well as state and federal decision-makers.
Information & Communication is provided by the League to keep our affiliated credit unions informed on pertinent credit union issues.
Educational Opportunities are available through statewide and regional meetings, conferences, workshops, and webinars; one-on-one training of credit union personnel; and other nationally recognized programs.
Public Relations & Marketing provide credit union exposure in order to develop increased membership and member participation in each individual credit union.
Louisiana Strategic Partners provides credit unions and their members with competitively-priced products and services obtained through marketing agreements with business partners and associates
League Membership includes membership in the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and the World Council of Credit Unions.Go to main navigation
