State Governmental affairs Conference

If your legislator isn't aware of the enormous value that credit unions bring to their communities, then they won't be concerned about credit unions' best interest as they craft and vote on important bills. This is why it is critical for you and your team to join us for the Louisiana Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) on April 25-26 in Baton Rouge.

The state GAC is Louisiana's premier advocacy event of the year, providing the opportunity to seek and understand the political environment facing credit unions.  State GAC attendees will have numerous opportunities to meet face-to-face-both formally and informally-with legislators and some of the most powerful decision makers in Louisiana.

LCUL is holding a block of rooms at the Hilton at a rate of $155/night.  Book by April 10 to secure this rate!  To reserve your room, please call 1-800-955-6962 and ask for the LA Credit Union League rate.

NEW! GAC Pre-Conference Workshop: LCUL Orientation (FREE)

If there is one thing we learned from the recent member survey we conducted, it’s that some credit unions simply aren’t aware of all that the League offers. From products and services to trainings and fundraising, we have what you need to succeed. For those who are new to the movement and for those who simply need a refresher, League orientation allows you to see what League affiliation is all about.

Join the staff of the Louisiana Credit Union League for a half-day workshop where all credit union staff and board members are invited to learn more about our strategic initiatives and discover the many resources available to member credit union.

Being held in conjunction with the state GAC, this event will take place on April 25 at 9:00 a.m. in Baton Rouge. There is no cost to attend. However, registration is required.
