The demands on leaders in today’s credit unions are greater than ever.  The contemporary Credit Union environment insists that leaders have a broader set of skills and knowledge in the areas of communicating & conflict management as well as attracting and engaging a diverse work force.  

Join us for this two-day seminar in which Dr. Charles Lankau will dive into the key skills that Credit Union leaders need today including:

  • Negotiation Skills 
  • Conflict Management and Communication
  • Creating a fair workplace environment including employment law
  • Developing a Motivating Environment 
  • Role playing and group discussion
  • Daily recap of best practices 
  • Follow up materials sent from presenter after the event…and more!

In this interactive course students will examine contemporary problems and demands that leaders face.  We will learn the skills and competencies that are required to address these demands.  

Schedule

Doors will open at 8:15 am with class beginning at 8:45 am; concluding no later than 4:30 pm. 

A light networking reception will be held in the evening of the first day.  

About the Presenter

Charles A. Lankau, III is an attorney, professor, and consultant in the areas of Law, Management & Leadership.  For the past 16 years he has presented courses and seminars within the Credit Union industry and is a favorite and highly rated presenter at the Southeast Regional Credit Union School referred to as SRCUS.
