Invest in America

Invest in America is an exciting way for credit unions to lend their members a hand during these tough times in two different ways. First, all eligible current and new credit union members can get a great discount on a new GM or Chrysler vehicle. Second, when they finance their new vehicles through their credit union, they get extra savings thanks to our low loan rates.

While the individual automakers’ offers vary, the process to obtain a discount is similar. All marketing for Invest in America will send members to lovemycreditunion.org. Once there, they choose their offer and can then click on a direct link to the preferred automaker. The  site will walk members through what they need to do to receive their discount.

This program is also designed to drive new membership and vehicle loan volume for your credit union. Messaging consistently includes how your members will save even more money if they obtain financing through their credit union.

To make a great program even better, we’ve already created comprehensive marketing campaigns to support whichever discount program your credit union selects. You may pick one or all, it’s up to you. Once you’ve chosen, you’ll have carefully crafted and branded marketing collateral to promote the offer. Whatever your credit union decides and whichever way you look at this program, it’s a win-win situation for members, credit unions and the automakers alike.

There is no cost for credit unions to participate in the “Invest in America” campaign. Members simply provide proof to the dealership that they have received their financing through a credit union in order to take advantage of the incentives.

 

Additionally, credit unions can visit www.lovemycreditunion.org to learn more about the program and gain access to the marketing materials. Previous conference calls have also been posted to the website in case you were unable to attend.
