The New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta invites you to join us in New Orleans for a "Conversation with the Chairman" workshop and video conference. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will address educators nationwide via video conference on Aug. 7, 2012.
His special live message will focus on the critical need for personal finance education in the wake of the recent financial crisis. After his remarks, Chairman Bernanke will take questions from educators who will be gathered at sites across the country.
You are invited to the Bank to participate in this special conversation as part of a Federal Reserve professional development program. The target audience for this program is educators and/or individuals who conduct financial education outreach programs. The workshop will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 4:30 PM. The workshop includes lunch and free educational materials. The Chairman's address will begin at 1:30 PM.
The event will be held at the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (525 St. Charles Ave). The program is FREE but registration is required.
