![]() 1. What is the sign up process for credit unions? To sign up for the credit union discount program, click here or contact Tom Ondrejcak 504) 468-5957, ext. 532 or tondrejcak@officedepot.com Within eight days of submission of the application, an Office Depot representative will contact you and explain how to order using the Office Depot website, give you your account number, and provide you with an implementation kit. A local Office Depot representative will be assigned to the credit union at that time to provide additional support. Please be sure to include your e-mail address on the application. 2. What is the process for sponsors of the credit union or SEGS? The process is the same except the credit union will contact their account rep to initiate the process for the sponsor or SEG. The sponsor or SEG will be assigned a separate account number that designates their account as a "child" account of the credit union. 3. What are the discounts for the program? The discounts on each specific item vary depending upon the profit margins for each item, but overall the discount averages approximately 10% off the "Business Services Division's catalog price." The "catalog" price is generally 50% to 70% off the standard List price. 4. If I am a current Office Depot customer, how do I change programs? The conversion is the same as a new client. You follow the same procedures as outlined earlier. Be sure to review your current pricing with the account rep. to ensure that your current pricing is not better than the pricing through this program. With few, if any exceptions, that should not be the case, but review it to make sure. There is a space on the enrollment form to include your account number if you already have one. 5. If I am with a competitor, how do I convert? How long am I obligated to honor this program? Since this program is not exclusive, you can sign up regardless of any other provider that you are currently using. There is no contract so you are free to use Office Depot exclusively or in any combination with other provider that fit your individual needs. If you decide you want to discontinue the program, simply stop ordering. 6. How quickly can I convert to the Office Depot program? Immediately! After you submit your application, it takes eight days for processing. If prior to credit being linked you need to place an order, you can do so by phone or fax and charge to a credit card. Once your account is activated, you will also be able to order online. 7. May I customize the product list? The product list consists of 151 items, and cannot be changed or added to. It contains every day office products and offers the deepest discounts. It is suggested that you order from this list first to fully take advantage of this program. 8. How do I order my supplies? You may order your supplies by phone, by fax, online, or by simply walking into any convenient retail outlet. 9. If I order supplies by phone, fax or online, how quickly will the supplies be delivered? Most orders are delivered the follow day by Office Depot's own trucks. Some outlying area will have UPS two-day delivery because of their remote locations. 10. How am I billed and what is the process for disputes? Credit unions are invoiced on a weekly basis. Office Depot has a "no questions asked" 30-day return policy. If a dispute does arise, Office Depot provides a customer service line to handle more serious problems. If that fails, LCUL will assist in resolving these matters. In the four years that this program has operated in Florida there have been no billing or ordering disputes. |
