Part - Time Call Center Lending Representative

Pelican State CU is looking for Part - Time Call Center Lending Representative. Responsible for a variety of member service related activities. Promotes increasing production and excellent member service consistent with the credit union’s mission of enhancing membership by providing safe, competitive and economically sound products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Actively promote and cross-sell all Credit Union products and services by identifying member needs and matching services and products to increase loan volume and share type accounts to improve member retention and credit union growth. Seek to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis. Assist Call Center manager in maintaining a sales culture and achieving branch sales goals.
2. Provide information regarding services and programs offered by the credit union. Provide members with information, routes calls to the appropriate department and determine whether supervisory input is required.
3. Perform routine member transactions and account maintenance. Research and solve member questions, problems, and complaints regarding their account either by telephone, written correspondence or in person.
4. Determine eligibility request of potential members and forward required paperwork for completion. Opens and closes all types of accounts; accept applications for membership.
Training and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Call center experience preferred
-Experience in a financial institution preferred
