It is important to remember that credit unions face a wide variety of natural disasters such as floods, fires, and tornados that could disrupt operations at any given moment and have potentially devastating consequences. In the event of a disaster, the Louisiana Credit Union League will be there to assist you in the recovery process. In the event of a disaster, LCUL will continue to update credit unions of those outlet locations that are open/closed. Telcom Recovery Case Study:
Telespan
LCUL worked with the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions (LOFI) to set up TelSpan, a telephone response system to be used in the event of an emergency. The system was a success and will be used again throughout this hurricane season. More information will be provided upon activation of the system.
