Each year the Louisiana Credit Union League recognizes outstanding credit union marketing and communications efforts through the Excellence in Marketing Awards. Awards are given out during the opening ceremonies of the annual convention. Awards include the following, by asset category:

Hall of Fame

The Louisiana Credit Union League (LCUL) is excited to present the Louisiana Credit Union Hall of Fame, a program sponsored by the Louisiana Credit Union Foundation. This program has been established in order to recognize the valuable leadership, commitment, dedication, and contributions of credit union professionals and volunteers throughout the state. Those inducted have given their time, talents, and ingenuity in order to enhance and strengthen the credit union movement.

Inductees can include active and/or retired individuals as well as those who have passed away. Inductees into the Louisiana Hall of Fame will be individually honored and recognized at LCUL’s Annual Meeting & Convention. A special wall designated for the Louisiana Credit Union Hall of Fame will be located in the League’s headquarters where the names of those inducted will be prominently and permanently displayed so that they are forever recognized for their achievements and contributions. Additionally, they will be recognized each year in LCUL’s Annual Report distributed during the Annual Meeting.

Inductees can be submitted by an individual, credit union, chapter, or organization representing or working with credit unions. If you would like to induct an individual into the Louisiana Credit Union Hall of Fame, complete the attached form and mail to League office along with a $500 donation on behalf of the individual made payable to ‘NCUF- Louisiana Fund’.

Memorials

The credit union movement is built on the strength and dedication of those that have contributed to our industry. The Louisiana Credit Union League would like to honor credit union leaders that have passed away within the last twelve months at the 2010 Annual Meeting & Convention. Honorees can include credit union employees, board members, and/or volunteers.
